The History of Skears Photographic

SKEARS PHOTOGRAPHIC was established by Steve Skears in 1990 to provide an expert repair service to the trade and the general public for all things photographic. With 27 years experience of repairing cameras, Steve has a wealth of knowledge on just about every camera available.

Originally, Skears Photographic was set up in Northampton as a workshop and a small shop occupying the ground floor of the unit only. Since then the company has grown and has now moved to 203 Wellingborough Road, a much larger shop and service centre. The Company employs 3 technicians, 6 shop staff and a bookkeeper.

We stock a large variety of photographic equipment and are committed to providing the highest level of service and advice as well as providing some of the best prices around. We deal direct with all the major camera manufacturers to ensure that we are always getting the best prices. This means that we will always be competitive on price and will try to match prices if we're not the cheapest price you find.

A 1 hour developing and printing service is now available.

Of course we still offer a high quality repair service to the trade and the general public with a fast turnaround usually within about a week subject to spares. All repairs are guaranteed for 6 months from the date of repair to give you peace of mind.
